Some of the Most Valuable Life Skills you can Learn

~ Know your feelings & differentiate between triggers & your intuition.
~ Understand your nervous system and vagus nerve.
~ Develop a toolkit of practices that help you emotionally self-regulate.

How do you get started when it comes to feeling better physically & emotionally?

One of the most valuable life skills you can learn is how to tend to your own emotions. It’s especially important in difficult times. How you self-regulate will determine if you become reactive, angry, feel anxious or depressed, or if you shut down in times when you may need to speak up.

How can you do this?

  1. Value the role your feelings play as guiding signals. Learn to differentiate between your intuition leading you to take wise action and old hurts that are triggering you and how this has an enormous impact on your physiology.
  2. Understand how your nervous system and your vagus nerve effect you. Recognising when you’re moving into an overcharged state of ‘fight or flight’, or when you’re blocked by a ‘freeze’ response can lead to greater self understanding. This benefits your physical and emotional well-being.
  3. Start to build a tool-kit of neural practices that help you to emotionally self-regulate when you are triggered or overwhelmed by your emotions. This helps you build resilience and adaptability. You’ll recover much quicker when you’re hurting.

These skills will serve you well over and over again. You can learn more in the Vagus Nerve Masterclass.

I’ve dedicated over a decade to simplifying complex concepts, and now, I’m here to guide you step-by-step into applying nervous system regulation to your own emotional and physical health, and also if you want to help others do the same.
