I’m a registered Physiotherapist who integrates manual therapy with acupuncture and mind-body therapies.
In addition to reducing pain, the patients I work with experience benefits to their well-being such as better sleep, improved inflammation, mood and energy levels and benefits to the digestive system, because acupuncture aims to address any underlying energetic imbalances.
Integrative Acupuncture involves examination of tissue and movement dysfunction found in manual therapies, with meridian examination found in Oriental Medicine practice, particularly in some styles of meridian-style Japanese Acupuncture.
I have a special interest in improving the Autonomic Nervous System and Vagal Tone to help reduce pain, inflammation, stress, anxiety and depression. You can learn more on my Patient Resources Page.
I work collaboratively with patients to set in place strategies to improve wellbeing. Appointments can be made by calling Integrative Acupuncture and Physiotherapy on (02) 66851646 Monday to Friday. You may also book online below.
The clinic is located opposite the beautiful Brunswick River in the Northern New South Wales town of Brunswick Heads. The clinic has a spacious and peaceful ambience created intentionally for the benefit of our patients.
To ensure you get your treatment off to the best start possible, I have designed your initial appointment to ensure that you leave with important questions answered, an accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, immediate pain relief and an improved state of wellness.
All of my initial appointments are 60 minutes to ensure that you have as much time as you need to tell me about your pain, injury or health concerns, you’re thoroughly assessed, your goals are understood and I can make an accurate diagnosis. I believe that less than one hour spent with you initially means important things can be missed.
Your Initial Appointment includes:
An assessment of your current health. This includes a diagnosis and identifying contributing factors effecting your pain, mood, sleep, digestion or energy.
An explanation of how long it will take until you’re feeling better.
Hands on treatment that is integrative and appropriate to your symptoms.
Identification of your treatment goals.
Outline of treatment options available to you.
The beginning of a home exercise program or lifestyle changes to help you immediately begin to make the best progress.
Documentation of your initial appointments findings: your diagnosis, contributory factors, your goals, assessment findings, consultation notes, and our treatment recommendation to help you get back to your physical best.
Initial appointment (60 Minutes) $120
Subsequent Appointments (60 Minutes) $90.
We accept Enhanced Primary Care cases: five Medicare Rebated appointments referred from your GP valued at $53.80 each. This brings down the cost of subsequent appointments to just $36.20.
Private Health Insurance rebates apply (please contact your private health insurance company to find out the amount).
We also accept DVA and Workers Compensation cases and Jessica is a SIRA registered Physiotherapist.

Integrated treatment approaches consisting of Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation, Acupuncture, Mind-Body and Plant-Based interventions have proven to successfully improve neuroinflammation as shown in recent studies.
Combining these approaches with specific meditations and breathing exercises that target the pre-frontal cortex have been shown to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines and have a positive impact on nervous system dysfunction including depression, anxiety, cognitive dysfunction, and pain.
